Pitch Twit’s sixth single is out now on Sic Outfit Recordings and is available for free from Sound Cloud (no registration needed).
This one is a slowed down house track with vocals provided by Emma Sargison. Its got more ‘song’ than normal, but its still Pitch Twit through and through.

The time has come again for another Pitch Twit single – this time it features the soft tones of Emma Sargison – a singer with a pure and sweet tone, who’s voice somehow sits perfectly over some rather gritty and bendy bass.
This – the 6th single from Pitch Twit – again is quite different from the last 5 releases. Its housey, but its got too much character to be classed as house, cutting and chopping the vocal in the old quirky ways of the Pitch Twit which we were used to seeing in previous tracks such as Sidewards and Oink. There are no DJ intros or outros here either – in fact I was suprised to see that the track lasts almost 4 and a half minutes: it seems like its over in 3.
All Pitch Twit’s releases so far are licensed using the universal Creative Commons licenses – and that means they’re free! If you haven’t got yourself copies yet head over to Sound Cloud for high quality MP3s with no registration needed. Or you can grab them from the player below!

In the future there’ll be a collaboration with Bonn Lewis, a Heads We Dance remix and more Pitch Twit originals. Tom
After 3 weeks of being in Amazing Radio’s chart I thought that was enough to warrant a wee blog post about it – along with a few others bits of info to keep you going.
Amazing Radio is linked to Amazing Tunes: a website aimed at unsigned (or self-signed) artists. Artists can upload music and allow the Amazing Tunes listener base to listen – or not listen – to the tracks. The more a track is listened to, the higher up the chart it gets. I think that’s how it works anyway.
Another place you might like to know about is a website called Jamendo. Here’s their own skit: ‘On Jamendo artists allow anyone to download and share their music. It’s free, legal and unlimited.’ I’m not sure how it could be unlimited but nevermind. Its a huge amount of free music which has been assigned official Creative Commons licenses (free to all) – the most liberal of which even allows the music to be altered or used for commercial purposes. Bulletproof is up on there and the rest will be going up soon.
In the future I’ll be putting out a few tracks that some of you might have heard before – but new and improved of course. As well as those, there’s a collaboration with Bonn Lewis waiting to be released and (when they get themselves sorted) a remix of a Heads We Dance track.
And finally, next Thursday will be the release of Sic Outfit release no. 5 – ‘Pitch Twit – Oink’. Keep you eyes and ears open for download links on the day.

OK so I’m behind on releases due to a holiday to the West Coast of the US (amazing!) and I broke my promise of one release per month. Or did I?! This next release will go out on Thursday the 29th July, just inside the end of themonth. Earlier versions of this track helped to define Pitch Twit: it was this track that led to Sidewards – Pitch Twit’s first ever release. The original inspiration came from a huge track I’m sure you’ll know – the Timo Maas mix of Azzido Da Bass’s track entitled Doom’s Night.
This one will be free again, this time on Creative Commons’ most liberal license allowing commercial use and alteration, and there’ll be WAV versions available for the DJs. Is there anything left to give? Don’t answer that.
Also, just a quick shout out to my top supporting music blogs: OMFG Atlanta; and The Hats and Friends.
